Hi guys, I've been facing some problems with my hexar rf recently. When I bought the camera, the rangefinder alignment (horizontal) seemed to be out so I sent it to my local camera workshop for a cla. I have just gotten it back and again the issue still seems to be there. I have handled a bessa r4m and the difference is significant imho.
So, to cut a long story short, I would like to find out from you guys if you have faced any issues with the hexar's alignment?

You could give details. Hexar focus is not the same as Leica focus if that is what you expected.

良かったね!
If you search here or via google, you can find a detailed description of how to align it. Now too hard. That said, it is a short effective baselength and alignment will be easier with a magnifying eyepiece.

the horizontal is always slightly out which drive me nuts because i prefer it to snap into focus..

I blame that issue for a bunch of shortfocussed 60/1.2 shots.

thanks for the link!
i am left eyed, so could it be because of my eye rather than the alignment? is there a way to check this? i just want to know if the shop did their job. since i paid for the service, i'd go back to get it readjusted if it's still no good.
