The Leica M2 has pulled away into the lead with 24 votes
Second spot right now is held by the Leica M6
In third place we find the Canon P closely followed by the Leica III (F) (one vote apart).

As I have mentioned in the other group please take time to consider each camera. Look at the design and how beautiful you think it is. It may be that your choice will surprise even you.

Rich I've now voted on both tranches 1 & 2

I've done something strategic. I'm voting anticipating how most of the RFF crew are going to vote ( ie permutations on Leica will have a higher order of vote attractiveness) My votes are outside those anticipations. I'm trying to push something else into the final round. One of my choices looks like a contender!

The last round is where the fun will be!

Seems like people are voting for the cameras they perceive to be "best," as opposed to what appeals the most esthetically. If four of the finalists are Leica Ms, then I'm thinking people haven't really gotten the point of the poll.

Yes, it could be that people genuinely find Leicas the most esthetically appealing, but I think there are other factors at work.

I do sincerly hope that everyone is trying to challenge themselves in terms of identifying the camera that they find most esthetically pleasing - and disregard their own, normal brand preference (in the case that these two differs).

Brian, I think the "ae" is a little older and closer to the Greek, while the "e" is more of a modern streamlining. Your 5th grade teacher was right on.
