Sidetracked a little over a week

Are we planning a photo book or something? Would arranging that distract us for the next 2-3 weeks while the magical mystery tour winds up?
I've never had one made. Who does good photo books Down Under?

I haven't, but know some people who do a lot, I'll ask them and find out.

Office Works have a service that works well. My wife has done a few of our holidays and the results are are pleasing.

They used Snapfish, moment, and albumworks; all local mobs they say it depends what you want from it, but all have neat software for doing the layouts etc.

No, Helen, not killed at all. i for one would be very happy. I would love a coffee table book with the images and a bit of a story.
I think the slow response to your offer is simply that noone feels they have the authority to say what happens.
FWIW you have my vote
my suggestion is that the images get collected onto a Dropbox (or similar) and the participants comments get collated into a short comment to go in their section. Of people want to write something new they could do that but I think we shouldn't rely on that.
So unless you hear otherwise, I say go for it.

Big thanks to Helen for being proactive on the photo book idea. Was great to hear from the ANZ group….as my life had moved on from the Fed down more inane and routine paths. Was great fun playing with that "outdated and simple" camera - it reconnected me with something more essential - maybe I need to try something like this again to resurrect a little if that spirit...

I have PM'd everyone on the list about the photobook and am looking into the gaps. The response so far is encouraging.
It seems our list system was not 100% effective. The camera missed its scheduled trip to Useless Generation. Did anyone else miss out?
