This is a cool pic

The Super Takumar was shipped to Carlos M. yesterday.
The Voigtlander Vitoret D will be shipped to RichReidJr somewhere next week.

Merry Christmas to all, and have a good New Year

Santa (me) game me a new Plustek 7600 film scanner for Christmas.
So I have this old Nikon LS-30 scanner. I'd try selling the thing, but I think it may need some adjusting. Just doesn't seem to scan as well as it should.
But maybe a different user could do a better job with it.
So I'm offering it up here (a little late for Christmas) to someone willing to pay the shipping. It's heavy and will be in a big box, so I'm assuming $25 for shipping inside the U.S.
It has the film and slide adaptor. You'll need to get a SCSI adaptor to hook to your computer.

Just a little bump to say thanks to everyone for participating in the giveaway. I got a nice filter step ring- thanks Ellen!- and I hope everyone received all the stuff promised this year. Let's all remember the generosity and spirit of the holidays, and carry this good will forward throughout the coming year. Best wishes to all!

Raid, you have a Contax G body cap on the way...packing everything up tonight and dropping off at the post tomorrow morning.

Happy New Year everyone. 🙂

PS>There are some items still available.

Tim, I am interested in the scanner if still available. Let me know how much the shipping will be to St. Louis, 63043 and send me your paypal ID.

Thx,
Dan.

Hi Bob,

Any luck on sorting things out? I am still waiting 🙂

In the spirit of Christmas giveaway, I am offering my Yashica GSN.

Has a battery adapter from yashica-guy so modern batteries can be used.
Lens is immaculate, no haze/fungus/cleaning marks.
Leaf shutter is perfect.
VF is dim but focusing has not been an issue for me.
Meter works great, I have got perfectly exposed photos each and every time.
"ND052H41" is engraved by someone on the bottom plate.

The issue with this GSN is; the POD needs some work. When I got a new battery for this camera, it lasted for about 5-6 rolls only. I did some online search and found out that the problem might be POD. I was going to try a DIY fix but now I don't think so, I guess it will be an easy job for someone with skills and the know how. It can still be used at 1/500 if you don't want to get it fixed, that's how I shot my last 2 rolls with it. 🙂

Only thing I ask is: do get it fixed and USE it. Most of my kids' best photos are taken with this camera and it is also my first RF, so is a lot dear to me. I just can't let it sit idly.

Thanks.

P.S: I will appreciate $10 for the shipping, as it is a heavy camera.
