Count me in as long as dates fit with my seemingly more and more busy schedule. I like brighton a lot - plenty of variety for photogs.

Regards

Gid

Nice one Rich,

Now I've been bitten by the street scene last week in London, count me in. So far any of the dates are good for me.

ManGo, i can be in, say, Scheveningen, and wave to you guys in Brighton:)
Wait...on which side is Brighton?

PS: if you send me an official invitation i will gladly join you:p

I'm interested, but I'm almost certainly out for those dates. I'll keep an eye on the thread though, and pop in if I'm things change.

Cheers,
BJ

administration charge, you imperial bloodsucker:)

If it is official enough? Dunno, let me call the UK embassy...

27/28 May are out as are 3/4 June - holiday in Norfolk with the kids (its Whitsun and Brighton will be heaving with tourists with cameras)

Going to check out 10/11 June with the better half.

Regards

Gid

How about aiming - tentatively - for the weekend of the 10/11 June, then, folk?

I would love to come with "her indoors", but getting down from "oop t'narth" could be tricky for an early start on the Saturday, not to mention bl**dy expensive if we come by train!

I'll keep watching to see how things develop.

The late-May & early-June dates are no good for me but 24 June could work - i'll keep an eye on the thread to see if it firms up.

I'm jealous, haven't been back to Brighton since the last (and only) uni reunion 13 years ago. We keep saying we're going to go back again but never get round to it! Personally, I always loved Brighton in the winter (minus all the tourists) and a bit of snow didn't hurt either... As for the 24 June - will be spending all weekend upgrading the email system at work - oh joy! Rather be in Brighton!

I've decided to plump for

Saturday 10 June

This isn't set in stone, so if the majority of those interested in coming prefer another day, I'll change it.

It's a bit early for details, so I'll sort out when and where to meet, etc., nearer the time.

There's plenty of things to photograph in Brighton, but if anyone's got anything particular they want to see or do, just post here - so, if folk want to include a bite to eat, for example, just yell!

Just a quick heads up ... Brighton, Saturday 10 June for photos, food and alcohol (not necessarily in that order!).

My plan (which I've just spent the past several seconds thinking up) is to meander vaguely eastwards from Hove, along the seafront, possibly ending up at the marina, if we don't get stuck in a pub and can't leave! OK, it's not much beyond one of Baldrick's "cunning plans", but one has to start somewhere! If anyone has any further suggestions, or has in mind anything particular they want to do, just post them here.

I'll post when and where to meet nearer the time.

Iwould love to join the group in Brighton, that's a lovely place!
I spent several summer vacations - attending to language schools - in Hastings: I still have some good, nice memories of those funny days...unfortunately Italy is far from the sunny Sussex!
Have a nice meeting, I will be thinking of you!

Hi everyone,

I have to pass on this one. My father went into hospital today in the midlands for an operation. It should have been over a week ago but they shuffled him back. I want to travel up to see him so I hope everyone who goes has a good time. Hope all is well for next weeks London meet.

Take care and have a bunch of fun.

Sorry to hear that, Fred. I hope your father makes a quick recovery.
