How about Avignon, France? It has a laid back atmosphere, and the city is not too large, allowing easy walks and transportation. Clsoest airport is Marseille. This is just a thought. The last RFF meeting in France was in 2007, I see in the list above.

I throw in Vienna. Beautiful, classical city and there is Westlicht plus other great camera stores. Legendary cafes and delicious food.

My last (and only) Euromeet was Istanbul ... would be nice to join again this year 🙂

All suggestions are very good but Sofia and Rotterdam would be my favourites of these so far.

Brugge or Bruges is a wonderfully photogenic city and where I park and leave my car I can use the parking ticket to get a free all day bus pass; well, I could last time...

DanskDynamit, it's a bit north of the Benelux cities I am advocating but I could be convinced to go to Copenhagen. Wonderful city to visit in general. I also have a friend I owe a visit there, and for those who haven't been the "Photografica" store is a great spot with helpful staff and in a scenic neighbourhood.

To my knowledge, not directly. But we have the "Technische Sammlungen", who have a nice camera collection of all the former manufacturers from Dresden...
