Pff, what a senseless p*ssing contest! Makes me glad I'm not mixed up in that segment of photography. Ash, thanks for warning us away from that cesspool.
 
I would burn my computer and buy a pencil sharpener if that is all that was available to me on line.......
 
I think it's best to walk away from discussions like that. Arguing over the internet is just a tremendous waste of time and there's nothing to be won.

That was hilarious! Even the flame wars on APUG with anything digital related seem civil after reading this. Funny how it fits into one's chlichee of the fashion world - internal fighting, fierce competition and "no matter what it takes" attitude. I want to see how this ends:D

As an aside, the most vicious person there seems to be a male photographer.

What a horrible business. I can't imagine working in an environment where egos are so rampant.

It sure makes me glad I don't have what it takes to be *in front* of a camera :)
 
Well, I kind of agree with the fact that her photos look very unprofessional, but the rest of the thread is just a bunch of ego fighting and put downs.. let's just say if it happened on the forum where I'm a mod, it wouldn't make it much past page 1 before it was locked.
