RFF is my catharsis

So what camera do you want that you are trying to talk the price down?

Can't be the F2, you just got another...

LOL 😀 dunno, I guess anything will do 😉

NESOP (New England School of Photography) is my catharsis. I've met some really, really good photographers there (and a lot of genuinely nice people). It reminds me that the final image is the point of all this.

The only problem is that now I'm lusting over a Shen Hao 4x5!

One of the traps of photography is that you can become such a gearhead that you forget to take pictures! 🙂

Oh yeah, pictures. 😛 I suppose one could come up with a "gearhead index" using this formula:
number of cameras owned / number of rolls of film consumed annually = Gearhead Index

Actually, digital cameras are the reason why I have a high gearhead index.

My Problem is I dont actually know what i want to achive with photography.
.

Knowing this you know more than many amateurs, me included ! 😀 😀
And you hold the key in your hand already !

Ther is NO camera good for all purposes, not in general and not for your personal interests !
The challenge is to identify clearly your own interest , pick the right system for it and learn to use it ! And shot, shoot, shoot........................
Your interests will change by the time of course, but first then change the system again.
It's difficult !! Because there is sometimes a little devil in your head which wants you to change the system PRETENDING it's time to change the photographical interest. Careful, at this poin schizo begins. 🙁

You can't do wrong as long as you put the priority on the photographical goal, task, challenge, passion or whatever it is.
The other way round leads in to roaring insanity and empty pockests ! 😀 😀

Best,
Bertram
