I just received a work order estimate from Don at DAG today.. he has my 'new' M3 and will be giving it a total overhaul

seeing a few other people mention DAG lately, I started to think about how many of our cameras are at Don's house, or other service shops at the same time

funny that we RFFers rarely meet in person, but our cameras might often be sitting next to each other on a workbench

JoeFriday, my Canon 7sZ is currently at DAG, although I expect it back home soon.
Total was $250 for a CLA, meter repair and self-timer repair. Not a bad price in my estimation for high quality work.

Other camera techs- I have 2 Contax bodies and 4 lenses awaiting service with Henry S. Based on the results of several cameras and lenses that he has re-habbed, he is a genius. I would not have recognized my cameras upon their return had I not recorded the serial numbers.

I am expecting my camera from DAG by early next week- turnaround time about 30 days at present. Henry S. is another story. Based on the number of folks on the waiting list, expect 4 to 6 months. Note: this is not a criticism of Henry's work. I think that the guy is the best, and very meticulous, but he is a one-man operation, and several months wait would not be unusual.

my understanding is that it generally takes Henry 4 weeks to get your camera back to you once he starts to work on it.. but his backlog is about 4-6 months right now

if you contact him, you can get put on his waiting list, and send the camera to him once he's ready to actually work on it
