Just recently bought a first year M4 and am waiting for it to arrive from Samy's. Serial number places it in the first batch of 3000 - #1177755.

Oh... Early one a?..

Why don't you write down your info, as written in the first post EXAMPLE?..

Welcome to the list!.. :)

As you might ask why are your numbers a little gray... It's because you haven't show us photos of your SNs...

So, right now, we have the closest to each other by serial numbers two M6, with a score "318"... One is in Australia, and another is in USA... Pretty close by numbers, not so far by miles:D

Leica M6 Classic 1781247, nickname, Candy.
I got Candy Apple Goo all over it at the fair and
had a hard time getting it off, so the name.LOL

Here's mine. Hope they stay as mine for a long time.

One of my M2's is 1108138 - nit too far from yours. This is a chrome one with the contacts for the Goldberg/Leica N.Y. motor drive. Dont have the motor - had them long time ago - never really worked that well.

You see!.. That's what I was talking about, when starting this thread... It's really interesting to find neighbors by the serial number... I'm sure, that you have some really cool cameras... Why don't you show them and put them on the list... I guess it would turn much bigger then it is now... ;)
