Lots of the attendees at our little soiree were shooting throughout the get-together. Let's post our shots here. I'll start.... I'm sure many of you were paying more attention to your photography and less to the all the gear and good conversation took better shots than these, so please share 'em.
Carl & Chris
Chris's extravagantly accessorized and generally pimped-out M6 FrankenLeica... available as I type this for the eminently reasonable sum of $500,000 on eBay. Place those bids!
John, shot with his own Nokton 1.1 on my M8. I'll need some time to get accustomed to focusing fast enough for such shallow DOF. I think John moved about four inches after I focused. I need practice. Very cool piece of glass, though it looks better on John's own M6 LHSA TTL.
Jeff. More evidence of my ineptitude with John's Nokton....
Chris and Jarno. Jarno was visiting NYC whilst on a jetsetting world tour from Finland.
Andre, winner of the 2d Annual NYC RFF M Beauty Pagent, won with his very sweet and minty new M5. Mispriced at KEH. Borrowing some batteries from Carl, Andre was quite happy to discover that his bargain-priced beauty HAS a working meter. Very cool.
