RFF on Twitter

can someone recommend good iPhone client for Twitter ? there seems to be plenty apps available, but would not like to try one by one.

Be careful who you follow. I'm following a journalist who is in Iran, He seems to "tweet" nonstop.

I haven't linked my phone yet. Will all these updates be sent to my phone?

I have been using Twitterific and it's pretty good. I also have it on my Mac but prefer TweetDeck as you can post to Facebook and Twitter simultaneously. I am by no means a power user but I do use it fairly frequently. My tweets are usually about discovering photo ops or new food/wine such as, "Awesome church at 31st Ave & 30th St, Astoria! http://bit.ly/fIGu9" (which happens to be down the block from my new apartment) or "There's a great new Gewerstraminer at Terroir." Nothing like the celebrity psycho-babble that is so in vogue today. :D

I was into twitter more during the election... I can't imagine even my friends and family are THAT interested in me and what I'm doing each second of the day. I expect my fascination with facebook will eventually wear off... I've only been a member a little over a week after refusing to join for the last however-many years.

Twitter,facebook, zombies and you.

Twitter,facebook, zombies and you.

What is "twitter" / "facebook" ?
Large timesinks that slowly deteriorate ones ability to communicate without LOL and WTF among other acronyms.
Facebook allows people to post a whole host of personal information that they allow a select group of interfriends read.

Twitter allows text speak to replace standard language , in a sense it looks to be well on its way to further mangling the english language , thus making a hard to learn language that much harder.

I have a myspace, and I refuse to get on twitter , i have no time for "tweets" especially when it has been popularized by twits . Facebook seems like one more distraction that I do not need.

To those of you that enjoy it , good for you, i resist both of these with vigilance, but maybe eventually ill fall victim to them as i did with myspace and text messaging(which I cannot send short texts, i have an issue with send abnormally long and weird texts to see what the reaction is ). Assimilation into the pop culture so that I can carry on conversations with people in abbreviated fashion.

Although I used to be an early adopter of new internet technologies Twitter just doesn't appeal to me. I don't care what people are doing minute to minute, especially if they have the time to stop and type it into their blackberry, or whatever.

I suppose once you all have left me in the dust though I'll get around to checking it out. :p

I use TwitterFon. Nice layout, easy to use, gives you trends, a functional search function and, oh yeah, it is free.

I'm starting to play with twitter as well, and having a lot of fun!
The nice thing is looking at 'nearby' tweets on my iPod touch when I'm particularly bored: it's fun to look at what your neighbors are tweeting in the last couple of minutes. I'm using twitterrific on my iPod and I like it a lot, but I must admit I didn't try any other client so far.
Here's my twitter.

depending on your fb app, you can have it update status (auto with fb twitter app), or selectively with 3rd party fb app that uses #fb to update fb status with tweets.
