RFF Really slow ?

This site is always my slowest site to load. About 5-10 seconds to bring up a page on cable modem here in New Jersey or in Manhattan on another computer at work.

Maybe just a little slower today.

I've always noticed RFF to be a little slowish on page loads but it seems that starting sometime yesterday response times fell off a cliff. Taking multiple minutes to load a random thread. Feels more like something is hogging the server resources rather than a connection problem.

Our company's been having router issues lately as well... must be contagious 😉

Ah! That's more like it. Its still slow compared to other sites though. I don't understand these things so there may be a good reason for it.

Thank Jorge. Sometimes these things need their electronic minds cleared. We had a situation a few finth ago where our server slowed to a crawl because some hacker had an automated program pinging the server trying every conceivable password to try to brak in.

Last night RFF slowed right down for me too. So much so I had to give up.

Now she is back to a more suitable speed.
