The Peaceful Pacific
This is for the Head Bartender, or other Mod...
I've noticed in eB@y, Neutral and Negative Feedback have thankfully, been eliminated. So, I'm wondering about a different aspect of our Classified Selling & Buying. In recent months, I've sold several camera bodies and lenses. The Shipments went to the USA, UK and Australia. Compliments were received from all Buyers on the packing, and I know that they are satisfied with the items purchased.
If I mark my Ad SOLD IT, it disappears. How then, to leave favorable comments?
In another case, I bought a camera body from an RFF member, and the shutter was dry. I had to do a CLA, which ran just over $100- with Shipping. My Seller was a real "mentsch," as we say in Yiddish, and he Refunded me $50- from the original transaction via PayPal. I went looking for the Ad, and couldn't find it :-(
The issue here among us, is one of Trust. To my way of thinking, there are very few [if any] RFF members who would deliberately "screw" their colleagues. Sure, there needs to be redress for the occasional gripe. I'd like to see a built in, post-sale vehicle here for the expression of Gratitude and Kudos.
Cheers, Mike
