RFF Sluggish Again?

Is it my location or has RFF become very sluggish again? It seems to be particularly slow in serving up images ...

Speed is quite normal, what anoyes me are the screen refreshes and reloads Thunderbird and Mozilla do until a page is displayed. Haven't seen that with other forums.

And as we're at it,

It is very slow. It iis not loading all of the images; giving time-outs.

Looks like packet loss problems using "ping".

Samething here. I use Firefox and the screen "refreshes" a few times (up to 3 times) and will even jump from top to bottom every time. Feels like the worst rollercoaster ride you can think of.

Speed hasn't bothered me and I've had no troubles with Firefox 1.0 either.

Which is odd has I'm most likely the furthest away from the server...

I do know how to "drop" a hard drive to free up the heads on a crashed drive for one last data read/write.
