RFF soft release on an SLR: Horrors!

I move my single RFF soft release from body to body, just to feel what I can feel. It is on my freshly CLA'd Pentax SP1000. With the softie, the SP's shutter release - already very good - now is like a perfectly tuned Model 70 bolt-action hunting rifle trigger set at 2.5 pounds.
This is trigger/shutter release heaven ... :D :angel:
