Just arrived today and thought I'd check in and see if anyone is in town. It's my first time so I'd love to get together or just some advice on places to eat, drink or see when I'm not busy shooting. Thanks!

I think there are a few of us here! Good time to be in Stockholm. I'd love to meet up. How long are you here for?

Hi there. Here regularly for work (no photo related) now for a couple of weeks and brought over family for midsummer. Great time to visit. Cannot suggest any not obvious place, but do visit the public library. Will be keen and try to join if there is a meet up.

I strongly suggest you take one of the ferries, it'll cost nothing above the ordinary bus/metro price and the view is stunning!

If you're into museums and exhibitions, I recomend Fotografiska and Moderna.

By the way, I'd also like to warn you that there may be a strike on the public transport, starting with buses tomorrow and trains the day after.

Thanks for the tip on the ferries! I will be here for at least three weeks, maybe four. I'd love to do an RFF get together if people are interested!

Thanks for the tip!

The city will be quite empty and closed tomorrow (and most people will be curing hangovers on Saturday) but there are always lots of people doing the traditional Midsummer's celebrations at Skansen: http://www.skansen.se/en/artikel/annual-festivities

For more socializing you could join a big group of Couchsurfing people in a nice park here on Södermalm: https://www.couchsurfing.org/n/even...lm?place_id=stockholm-stockholm-county-sweden

RFF gathering next week would be great!
