Few shows left, this one is at the Days Inn on Sunday, 10am, Photorama, and folks from around Cleveland-- It's on old Rt. 21 (Miller) just south of the Turnpike-- just south of the I77 exit.

Coupon for a buck off on line, -- Student discount as well-- probably a buck off if you mention RFF (we can try)

It's a day or two after a major Auction in Columbus, so there should be something to look at, perhaps even buy--

Thanks

Thanks

Some interesting kit there-- much from the Columbus Auction the Friday before--

The $3500 tripod was not there-- it is going to Australia--

I bought a few small items-- an Ohio made TLR-- and a Ricoh / Ansco Memo-- plus a few basic SLR's probably for donation to Cleveland Print Folks--

Would ask folks to support the shows when you can, not many left -- am pretty sure the local Club Show is in the Fall, same location-- come early and you can probably get a couple of cups of decent coffee from the hotel for a tip--

Leica Film Prices

Leica Film Prices

I have noticed the prices of Leica Film cameras seem to be quite reasonable, the Auction and the Show--

Same for high end film SLR, -- Nikon F4, F5, etc.

Probably from 1840's-- the era of the first photos in America-- Daguerreotype tripod-- several people wanted it, and the guy who won worked at the Eastman house-- it's for a collector in Australia-- Am pretty sure he had the camera to match--

Perhaps a Walcott? He made the first photographic portrait in the US, held the first and second photo patent in the US. Created a process in which the exposure dropped to a speedy 20 minutes.

Price was a bit unexpected--
