Unfortunately, my new/old FF90 Super is a doorstop. It has a stripped or stuck gear somewhere in in the film advance mechanism, and I think that I may have smoked the motor in my attempts to free it up. So I now have a set of auxiliary close-up and tele lenses for the Ricoh FF70/FF90 camera, with no camera to use them on. If anyone wants or needs these, PM me, they are yours for the shipping cost.

I wonder if aux lenses for earlier FF70/FF90 fit FF90 Super? And how close/tel;e they convert 35mm?

P.S. Haven't you thought about getting another FF90 or Super model?

The instructions for the Tele and Close-up state that they magnify by 25%. Also no mention of "Super" on the boxes or instructions at all, but they do fit the Super, and it is probably safe to assume that they would also work with the earlier ff90/ff70.

btgc, it is pretty likely that I will get a (hopefully working) FF90 at some point, but it is also almost equally likely that these auxiliary lenses will gather dust in a drawer somewhere. For close-up work I would most likely choose an SLR, and for a longer lens point and shoot I have several zoom and dual focus cameras to choose from.

I might be able to get a few dollars for them if I tried to sell them. But as I recently was given a "fixer" Trip 35 for shipping cost by another forum member, I figured I might as well "pay it forward" and keep the karmic balance of the universe intact.
