Does anyone know what year the Zorki 4 went from a RH thread to a LH one for the self-timer lever screw? I bought myself a bunch of trouble by breaking the screw in a 1978 4K when I was stripping off the horrible cloth covering to replace it with nice leather.

Eventually, I got the broken bit out, and scrounged another screw from a parts camera (1975). Looks great, smells wonderful!

I'm always afraid of using the self-timer on old cameras (often don't work right and may jam the shutter). I always use one of those long bulb releases, good for raising smiles.
