Rigid Induster-22

I just received a Zorki 2S with a rigid Industar attached, both 1951. I understand that only 2000 of the rigid Industar 22 were made, does it make this one rare or just uncommon?

I have done a few test shots with the lens attached to my Lumix G1 and the results look promising. Does the rigid have the same optics as the collapsible?

I'll post some outdoor shots later.

Yes, the rigid I-22 and collapsible I-22 have the same optics. I have a rigid I-22 for the Zorki, and another similar looking I-22 on my Zenit(-1).

If you look at the optics of the I-10, I-22, and I-50, they look very similar, all Tessar types. It's even hard to distinguish the differences of what an I-50 does compared to an I-22.

Yes, the rigid Industar-22 is a quite uncommon lens as, according to Princelle, it was made only at about 2000 exemplars, in black or white front plate. The optical scheme is identical to the collapsible I-22 indeed - a Tessar one.

Here are some test shots taken today attached to my G1. The lens showed a lack of contrast so this was adjusted in LR3 and as they were raw I've tweaked the sharpness a little. All full frame (equivalent to a 100mm lens on 35mmRF).

These were taken after I had removed the front elements and given the insides a clean with some Zeiss lens cleaner.

My mistake I should have said f3.5 i.e. wide open. I'll edit my post.
