Ring on Viewfinder Canon IIF

I just purchased a Canon IIF and my repair shop told me it was missing a small ring that fits on the round viewfinder that it above the lens. Any place or substitue threaded ring would great.

They are very frequently missing. The ring on some of the Russian Zorki/Fed cameras do fit. If you are lucky, someone will have one for you.

the rf Trim ring on a Fed 3 camera will fit.

I use the RF trim from a Fed 2 for the Canon IIf. It fits perfectly, and matches the camera well.

I went by a local camera store that had a Fed 3 or 2 that was a display model about 10' off the floor and a helpful salesman who still shoots film brought it down for me to look at. I was intent to order a Fed 2 or 3 from Ukraine but not before trying the little ring. Wow it finally came off and fit just right on my Canon IIF. Its a little wider along the outside edge than what should go on the camera but it fit perfectly.

This is what it looks like now. Fills up the space.
