RIP Harold Feinstein

Oddly enough (or as it should be), I didn't recall his name but I recognized the images I saw in his site... Great testimony of the changes this country has gone through! Glad he recorded them in these images, but sad to see him gone...

Thanks for the link, I did enjoy reviewing the site and have created a link in my favorites. I need to explore the work of Mr. Feinstein.

When I first looked through the recent retrospective book of Feinstein's work, the first thought that came to me was 'This is why street photography is important'. Feinstein's images captured some history for us. Through those images we can see who we've been, how we've changed, maybe even who we are now. We must never lose sight of our cultural history and street photography helps us do that tremendously. Thank you Harold Feinstein, and all the others like him that put in the work to create as honest a picture of us as possible.

A wonderful portfolio of someone with whose work I was not familiar. Thank you very much for the link. RIP Harold Feinstein.

Harold's work was always stellar. Always solid. He had patience and gravitas from a very young age.

"And the days darken round me, and the years, Among new men, strange faces, other minds." - Lord Alfred Tennyson

Rest in peace, Harold
