RIP Tom A

Never met you, Tom, but learnt a lot from your RFF posts : not least to admire your photography and, in equal measure your humanity

You'll be truly missed by many

My condolence to Tuulikki

wow...i hadnt seen this until now.. =( ..

my condolences to his family and friends..

I have learned so much from so many searches online when getting into the Leica brand that came up with articles or comments from Tom A. Such a nice guy and so greatful for his contribution to the photography world.

He will be surely missed.

I just saw the news and really shocked. The previous latest new I read months ago was his reply in some thread that he was recovering from a back injury.

It's a really sad news. Tom has replied my questions in this forum with very detailed and helpful information.

I too am sad to read this bit of news.
We will miss his kind spirit and encouragement.
All my best to his wife and family.

I'm an avid follower of Tom's posts here and pictures at Flickr. Very sad news, my condolences to his wife, family and friends.

I loved the guy. He took the time to reply to questions and he was always a true gentleman.
We could all learn something from his example.

I'll think of him every time I use my Rapidwinder.

RIP Mr Tom.

We have lost a Cornerstone of the Rangefinder Community. Sad news, indeed. I may have not known him well, but I certainly knew of him very well and looked up to him.

My thoughts to all of his Family and Friends.

Damn, this is devastating news. I never met Tom in person but I was connected to him via Flickr and other social media platforms. Every time I posted something on Flickr he would like it. It's a big regret not meeting the man in person. My condolences to his family and friends.

Just saw this. Condolences to Tuulikki. And to Tom's many friends, acquaintances, admirers, acolytes, converts and others. What a great contribution he made to this site, and all the many other realms, photographic and otherwise, that he touched. A life well lived and a spirit that will be missed. More than once, even though I never met him personally, he offered help (and encouragement. Truly a sweet, sweet soul.

Tom Abrahamsson was a dear friend. He was a brilliant designer and a kind and generous soul. Though he is gone all too soon his presence in the Leica and Nikon RF worlds will be forever felt.

My deepest condolences to Tuulikki Abrahamsson, whose own genius added Tom's work.
