Hey Everybody,

Rite Aid has a special this week--two packs of 4 rolls, 24 exp. ISO 200 or 400 speed film, for $8.00. Any chance it's the Agfa film that Walgreens was selling this Winter?

Look at the box and see where it is made. If it says Germany, it's Agfa. If it's Italy, it's Ferranta and free would be too expensive 😱 If it's Japan, it's probably Konica from what I understand.

Hope this helps,

William

If you do buy some, look on the canister itself. Sometimes the "Made in" is there.

Yeah, I was looking at the packaging at Rite-Aid the other day, but I didn't buy any. Here's another strategy: ask the mini-lab operator. If it's a kid, don't bother, but if it's the photo manager, they might know.

If I'm doing my math correctly ("two packs of 4 rolls, 24 exp. ISO 200 or 400 speed film, for $8.00") this works out to a dollar a roll!

Just buy it and try it!

Geez, Louise, how cheap do you want it to be?!?! :bang:

FWIW, I prefer the look of the Ferriana-made ASA200 I get at Fred Meyer to the Agfa ASA200 from Walgreens. The Ferrania's a little more punchy. But it scratches easier. It couldn't be worse than Lucky!
