I have a very emotional reaction to dead animals... it makes me sad. Who knows, I may be soft in the head... But then, only racoons, cats and dogs really get to me. I like the strange atmosphere in the pidgeon's shot (the one on cobblestone). Nice job! 🙂

Now, that said, I don't think I'll return to this thread. The dog and the raccoon were more disturbing than I can handle... Ciao! 😉

Dead humans might not even bother me as much. I'm not sure why.

Why don't we start a thread of camera roadkill shots? Your choice-- film or digital.

...like a nice shot of a Canon 5D, run over by a Walmart tractor-trailer delivering goods from China. We see the camera flattened, polycarbonate splinters fill the air, just as the soul of the camera leaves it's body-- wait, this camera has no soul!
