Hey all!
I'm taking a trip across America and looking for advice on places/things to check out along the way. It will be a friend, my girlfriend, and myself.

Basically, Santa Clara, CA ->Nevada ->Arizona ->Utah ->Colorado -> Unsure but less important.
We want to focus on the west and try to hit up National Parks and do a little camping along the way. Of course taking photos the whole time! Anyway, looking for suggestions of great spots to check out, especially hidden gems. I of course want to hit up the typical stuff like Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Zion, but I like off-the-beaten-path stuff just as much. Also, any other broader suggestions are welcome too, good photo spots, food, other interesting places, etc.

The Meteor Crater in Winslow, AZ just south of the Grand Caynon. Well worth the side trip and if you have the time, Caynon DeCelly on the Arizona/Colorado border. Have fun!

Strongly recommend taking Hwy 50 across Nevada, then head south to Cedar City, Utah (Cedar Breaks NM), then to Zion NP, north rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce NP, Canyonlands NP, and all the wonderful parks on the east side of Utah.

Desperate but not serious
If you're going threw St Louis then you have to stop at the St Louis City Museum for two reasons, the several story slide and maze. Bring a wide angle and have a ball.
