Having just returned from a short road trip to warmer climes, I am posting a smattering of images from my trip to Death Valley. While I shot everything from 4x5 to 6x17 transparencies, the Fuji was an awesome traveling companion, especially with my newly acquired Fuji 14mm lens. I left my DSLR at home and didn't miss it one bit.

Most of the images were processed in Lightroom, with the B&W conversions done in SilverFX. A few images were tweaked in Topaz Adjust in PS. Hope you enjoy the mishmash of images!

First, I enjoyed this work. I like your style.

Second, right after writing this I am ordering the 14/2.8 XF. I was teetering at the edge of the cliff and your photographs pushed me over the edge.

Some nice shots there. U are definitely giving gas :D:bang: The 14 and 27 are on my hit list.

I love the shots of the abandoned places and e texture related stuff.

Very nice work. You have a great eye and handle that xp1 with some real skill!!

I've been putting off the purchase of the 14mm since it is so much larger than either the 35 or 18 and what I've really been attracted to with the x series is "smallness" in opposition to an slr... I probably won't carry the 14 around all day on a city walk, but I can see I have to have one :)

Thanks for posting - inspiring
