Ken has an immense amount of info up on the X100 - review, user's guide, comparisons, samples.

After dismissing it with contempt upon its release, he's changed his mind - now it's his favorite.

He consistently provides good and useful info. You don't have to agree with his opinions. He does waver from time to time. A camera goes from the greatest ever to "ignore." But so what?

I, for one, enjoy his site. I recently upgraded to a Nikon D300 that hes does not recommend but it met what I need to do.

Before I get thrown off here, I still have my two Barnacks, a Rollei 35 and a Rollei TLR.

But none get used too much I am afraid and I am thinking selling the Rollei.

I must agree with Easyrider, for the most part. Ken's writing style is, well, unique. It seems that each new piece of equipment is worthy of overstated praise, but the real meat of the information lies buried in the narrative, anyway. I'll keep reading him because I can't afford to buy all the new stuff that comes out and try it; evidently he can.

I do enjoy his photography, particularly the pictures with the Leice M9 and the Aspherical Summicrons. When one scans through enough of his pictures, one sees a style that breaks through and that is a pretty good sign of a mature photographer. I just wish he'd pick up a good Rolleiflex sometime.
