Does anyone have the plans of the enlarging lens I mentioned? I have one with a very high aberration at the edge of the projected circle and which was very probably badly asseblmed (probably one element is switched) and I would like to see how the lenses are supposed to be before opening it... Well, I could find out by myself probably, still if someone has the plans I am happy.

Before you take nyour lens apart, are you sure it is the lens? If you are using it at the edge of the image circle, then your format is too large and you will be getting problems. If the image circle is only at one side of the neg, then try to center the lens in the optical train.

Can you post a picture of what you are talking about?

Taking a lens apart can cause more problems that it will solve. And a diagram may not be enough - you notice the lens looks fairly symetrical, but it may not be exactly symetrical and you would not know by a visual inspection. You also do not what to pinch or misalign the optical when you put it back together.

I am almost sure it is the lens. I tried the 75 for 6x6 and the "outer parte of the circle" is almost one fifth of the circle. Aberration is horrible and you can see even just looking in the lens.

I can try but I do not guerantee I will have the time these days.

Thanks for the advices, I am not a pro in this but I have taken apart quite a few lenses, I think (I hope at least 😉 ) that I know what I am doing... As I always say in these cases, I might lose a lens but I will gain knowledge for sure...
