I just realised that SLR lenses will work on my M8 .
Thanks to Roger Hicks , I found out that a Minolta adapter is available .
OK , it's a real return to the bad old days , with no rangefinder coupling , but the 24 mm / 28 mm , maybe the 35 / f 1.8 should be useable . The 85 f 1.7 ia a bit of a monster , and focusing will be AN ISSUE - but the joy of the M 8 is being able to take instant test shots . [ I would not even try on a III c , even if an adapter is available ]
I can imagine using the 135 mm solely at infinity at an air show !
It's a bit wierd that the M 8 , by chance , is one of only two digital cameras , and the only current camera, whereby I can use my Rokkors .
