Kirk, i'm sorry but i don't think the bokeh in those two shots is so special or different. Also, the shots are not very ...inspiring. Maybe that's why people refrained from commenting.
The 'flex is a great camera and a classic tool to use. Enjoy!
PS: out of focus highlights can take the shape of the aperture blades. That's where it might matter what shape it has and how many blades (not wide open, of course). Another situation is ghosting, where again, the bright spots take the shape of the aperture so a circular one might be better than a pentagon.
