I just purchased a 35S. Sometimes when advancing the film it doesn't go all the way with one stroke of the winder and takes a couple of strokes. Any ideas, suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

Mine Honeywell Rollei 35 is the same. Every time it took three small strokes to advance the film. It works fine. I am happy with it.

It's 'official' : my Rollei 35 handbook says
"You can operate the transport lever either in one swing or in two short swings until it locks - whichever you prefer."

It's possible that you might have a wind sprocket that's missing a tooth and it sometimes doesn't give you a full complete wind on one stroke. I have a Pentax K-1000 body that does this, but it only shows up once every couple of rolls of film.

Ambitious, but rubbish
I have one with a missing tooth in the sprocket. Yours may be the same.
