Does anyone have any helpful info on the Rollei 35 rf. I would appreciate any info from you guys since this site😎 has been really useful for me to grasp some knowledge about RF.

Rollei 35 is an easy camera to use. Carry it in your jacket pocket. The main problem is the meter. The battery initially made for the camera is no longer available in America. To use the meter, and I have just started using this camera and like it, you need an MR-9 with a v386 battery. I have ordered one from www.criscam.com Awaiting its arrival. Others probably know much more and have more experience. McKeown's has some good info.

Rollei 35 is not 35 RF. I supposed photo4ls was asking about the more recent Cosina made R2 clone Rollei 35 RF. As said it is actually a Voigtlander Bessa R2 so you can read about R2. The 40mm frame line is because this body is designed to be used with the 40/2.8 HFT Sonnar lens, the same one on the Rollei 35S. The lens close focus to 0.7m but the 35 RF itself can only range finder focus to 0.8m. The body is silver (but on the yellowish side) so will match chrome lenses. A quick manual winding trigger is available and u cannot use the Cosina one.

If u are not a Rollei fan and does not use 40mm then the R2 maybe a cheaper option.

The lens is really a nice piece of gear. The body isn't remarkable enough to pay extra for it, unless you want a matching all-manual body.

The finish is powder chrome, but I don't see any yellow tint to it.

The 40mm Sonnar really matches up nicely with the Zeiss Ikon body, including its rangefinder coupling. Both focus to 0.7 meters. And the rangefinder wheel isn't as heavily sprung on the Zeiss Ikon, making it easier to focus on the Zeiss Ikon than on the Rollei 35 RF.

Thanks for all the info, and it seems smart for me to start reviewing some of the CV line of bodies since I have heard so many good things about them. I just knew this was the place to get the real scoup .

I have no connection but B-H has some new, old stock for $499 USD. They have the 2 year warranty. If you should buy, keep the sales receipt for the camera dose not come with a warranty card. A quick call to Rollei assured me that the receipt would be my warranty card. Now if Rollei stays afloat.
