I just got black Rollei 35 SE, no scratches, for $200 (I read 35 SE its dificult to get) for my girlfreind. Whe I ggave her the camera i was hoping for big long smile and a big kiss but she did nothing. So i said "you aint even gonna give me a kiss" but she said she had to try it first. I felt a little sad couse I was very enthusiastic about it however after a few shots she came back...I think she really enjoyd the camera.

Anyway i just want to know if any of you have the manual. My meter has only two red lights....I scarsly see a green bulb one in between but it never lights on. I am also interet in knowing the real price of thits camera.

Does anyone has filters and neck/hand strap for thits camera to sell.

thanks guys!

I just got a black Rollei 35 S today! With the 2.8 Sonnar lens, cap, strap, bag and manual 😀 Mint bar a dent in the top right of the camera and no battery. Im glad I got it tho. its so cute 🙂 I think if your girlfriend dosnt like it, take it back and keep it 😉

Gustav,
If your camera needs repair Harry Fleenor at Oceanside Camera Repair is one of the best for Rollei (all models). He worked on my 35SE last year and I am very pleased with his service.

All accssories show up on eBay from time to time. Original caps go for a fairly high price; careful with filters because the Tessar cameras take 24mm and the Sonnar cameras take 30.5mm. Last week I threw away a wrist strap.:bang:

I have a wrist strap for the Rollei 35 SE that you may have for the cost of postage to the Dominican Republic (estimated cost of postage is approximately 10 USD). I used a 35 SE for 12 years doing surveying work. Unfortunately, the camera got crushed by construction equipment after a trench collapsed as I was working in it in 1987. Send me a private message if you interested.

a friend of mine used her rollei to do a lot of 70s and 80s concert/music and art scene stuff-she got some great shots of people we've all heard of. a publication is in the works (negotiation stage) so i can't reveal her name.
another friend lost his in powder snow.
and, in case anyone is looking for a nice 35-S with the classic Sonnar 40/2.8 HFT lens, i have one available (fs or trades considered).

OK, so whose Rollei is it really, your girlfriend's or yours??

I've been hunting a Rollei 35 too; the prices are quite extraordinary...I should remain patient until the "right" one at the "right" price comes along.

This Rollei 35 camera, is it a good camera to get to use in more dangerous (to the camera) environments? I am thinking of skiing in particular, but there can be other situations...
I mean, is it a robust camera?
