The best camera is one that still works!
I can see this lens being perfect on the RD-1 ... not so happy with the 40mm focal length personally and the only 40mm I've ever owned was a Summicron C ... briefly!
However on the Epson it translates to 60mm which would make a brilliant short portrait lens I would imagine.
