Rollei ATP 1.1 Developer, Stop & Fixer Advice

I plan on purchasing some Rollei ATP 1.1 and would like to make sure I am getting the right chemicals for processing this film. I only want to order from freestyle.

This is what I ordered

Rollei ATP 1.1 Film
Rollei ATP DC SPUR Film Developer Rollei Low Contrast Developer
Silvergrain Clear Fix Neutral B & W fixer
Stop Bath is not needed for this film

Anything else I might need. Is silvergrain the way to go?

You definitely want to use their recommended developer. I've not been able to get good results with the other ones I've tried (Diafine, Rodinal 1:200 etc). Way too contrasty.

You have to go down in iso rate when using Rodinal.

I tested 1+150 E.I. 12-15 with the ATP1.1 but indeed it tends to a steep developing curve.

Use an Acid type fix for this film, also recommended by Rollei. You can use a stop which I always recommend. The fix time can be short: 1 minute.

I also tested ATP-DC (made by SPUR) on iso 25-32 and the Rollei Low Contrast (their document developer) 1+4 E.I. 20-25.

This last developer is working very well.
All Rollei document developers needs good metal free water and a clean reel otherwise there is forming an iron complex in the film with "black dots" .
So be beware about this.

Interesting, I bought some RLC too, but got some sort of solarisation effect on the film, so I gave up on that.

I just placed my order from freestyle. I am in the US can you recommend an acid fixer so I can place the order next time. FotoHuis I have been reviewing your flickr stream but I can't buy some of the products in the US that you are using. Everything you use is from a german website.

By an overexposure there is a possibility for a solarisation with the ATP film.

I am selling the Dutch Amaloco chemicals. Further all materials from Rollei-Maco (from Germany) and Foma (from the Czech Republic)
Not so strange because Fotohuis is their Dutch distributor. I am selling in the Euro zone and of course the Netherlands.

Rollei ATP works great with the intended developer (ATP-DC) I was able to make 80x100 cm from 35mm film.
As per Fotohuis advice, use distilled water to prepare the developer, then you can use regular water afterwards.
Also use a final wash in distilled water to prevent drying marks, and you should be fine.

Some people complain of this fim curling, so use weights at bottom when drying
