Rollei B35 or LED?

So, here's the situation.

A few weeks ago I purchased a Rollei B35 on eBay. I couldn't afford much, so I bought a well used one. From Peru. And the seller didn't know how to use it, so it was sold as is. To my amazement, when I finally got it, everything worked!

Or so it seemed. Once I put film in it, it started acting wierd. Specifically the film advance seemed to be sticking, and sometimes the lens wouldn't retract all the way. Turns out that things are not synched up quite right inside. Seems like a simple problem to fix, but I haven't been able to.

Anyway, I won a 35 LED tonight (in "excellent condition" of course) and so my first inclination is to sell the B model to try and recoup some money. And I was wondering what everyone else's opinion is. It seems pretty obvious to me (assuming that the LED model is in fact in good shape), so I guess I'm just looking for confirmation. From what I can tell, both models are pretty much the same anyway with the exception of the meter, which is fine because I am distrustful of old selenium meters anyway.

Finally, where should I sell the loser? Here or on eBay?

Thanks!

I've got an original 35. Having it repaired was an adventure: sending it to Rollei would've cost $300+ so I had a local place do it instead. The local place charged me $150 and scratched the distance numbers on the lens.

From what I've heard, the lens on the 35 makes the biggest difference. There are some sites on the internet explaining/comparing them all.

I have a 35LED. They have the usual Rollei 35 ergonomic quirks but are quite solid little cameras. The lens is pretty good, but by all accounts not quite up to the original 35. The LED metering is good and easy to see in the viewfinder. If you like scale focusing and manual controls it is definitely worth trying. An alternative might be an Oly XA3 - full auto with backlight and ISO compensation, fewer quirks and no lens cap to lose.

As far as I know, both the LED and the B model have the Triotar lens, the only difference is in the metering. In this case, the difference is also that the B model I currently own is not working right, and the LED model on its way is supposed to be in much better shape.
