I have just ordered some Rollei Pan 25 in 24x36 and 120. Before I did this I asked for some information on what kind of film it was. Where it was produced etc. I wanted a fine grained film which could be developed in standard developers as I use a lab for this. In this forum there has been some Rollei film discussions. Here are the informations I got from 3 different emails directly from the source (Maco).
If you want to look at data sheets etc. it can be found here:

I am not trying to sell the film. Just trying to give some useful information 🙂

the Maco and the Rollei Films are from different production plants.
Today our assortment of ROLLEI BRAND films is mostly made by Agfa Gevaert AG, Belgium.
Yes, there is a difference between the brands.
Please divide between Agfa Leverkusen/Germany with at least 1.900 employees
and Agfa Gevaert AG, Antwerp/Belgium with at moment 15.000. (!). See:
www.agfa.com
Our Rollei Pan 25 and Ortho 25 films are fresh made by Agfa Gevaert AG.
For STANDARD development you can use the Rollei Pan 25 only .
What for a world - it´s internet time.....
Nobody has a reason to dream about old fashoin styled films
- when the successor out of the same factory - different production plant -
is still available !
We are able to follow Agfa Pan 25 since may years with the Maco Pan 25,
and now, (2004) with a better quality, as Rollei Pan 25.
