Along with fiddling with other cameras, Im currently trying to restore a rolleicord I art deco version.

It basically needs new shutter blades and a mirror. I found a thread on here where someone used a polaroid mirror, so I'll probably go down that route.

I've found out that it is a compur C00 shutter, but I'm having trouble finding a replacement. Does anyone know what other cameras use the same shutter? Preferably I would get the same carl zeiss shutter, as my front element has a couple cleaning marks and it might affect the pictures.

Heres a link of said camera (minus a few parts) along with a kodak 35 military version that I'm restoring.

yeah thanks for the link Jeff.
Someone else has shown me that site, the mirror will fit if its cut down slightly!

I have what looks like the same shutter in an Ansco folder camera, although it's definitely not original - I think someone assembled the camera I now have out of spare parts long ago. If you can't find another I suppose the shutter would see more use in a Rolleicord than this leaky folder, though I'm rather loath to part with a working camera. Perhaps if there's no other option, I could send this to you?

Thanks for the kind offer breathsealer!

I would prefer to buy a camera that doesnt get used, seems senseless destroying your camera if you still use it!

I have been looking around, and found a camera that seems to have the same shutter; http://www.rockycameras.com/voigtla...ntage-camera--compur-skopar--1999-27142-p.asp

I figure that if I dismantle it and its not the right one, I cant just put it back on ebay.

Hi,
I admire the looks of the Art Deco Rolleicord I and have a soft spot in my heart for early Rolleicords. I have a Rolleiflex parts camera that has a rim set Compur shutter. Would be glad to sell it to you if you wish. Also saw a Rollie front panel with shutter advertized on eBay last night. Good success in restoring the Art Deco Rolliecord.
