Hi I've recently bought a Rolleiflex 2.8C Xenotar that i love, however it came without a strap and i was hoping someone could recommend a good strap or even tell me where i could get an original Rollei 2.8C strap as they appear to be very hard to find ?
Thanks in advance for any help as usual.

John.

I like the Op/Tech 'Pro-loop' streap setup on TLRs. The clothe connector loop drops away from the hood when you raise the camera.

I will often unbuckle the center section, clip the two short pieces together, and get a nice safety wrist strap. Stick my right hand through it, give a twist, and carry the camera in my right hand only. Very quick and convenient when moving around, on the street, etc. (yes, that's an E, not a C, but same setup on both)-

For some reason I've gotten tired of the neoprene thing on straps, but still like the connectors. So I cut the buckles off of another connector set and sewed them to a 3/4" webbing strap, the kind you get for holding sleeping bags to backpacks and such. Nice width for carrying across the chest.

I had Gordy straps but I didn't like/trust the connection but now I have Domke Grippers and I am happy with them.

I use Barton 1972 strap on my Rolleicord, check them out, they look the part without any metal or even plastic parts that might scratch the paint if you're that kind of guy. :D
