Well,

I got my K4B back from a CLA today, and while checking the camera, it seems like the self-timer does not work as it should. I wind on, cocking the shutter, press the button and wait for the clockwork stop. At his point, I can see the shutter button is moving inwards, but it does not open and close the shutter.

After the grinding has stopped, if then push the button, a little "snick" is heard but the shutter does not fire. If I press a second time, the shutter fires.

I took a look in the manual and I can't see anything I am doing wrong.

Any suggestions?

I never got a reply from the repair guy, so I ended up sending it off to the guy who did the service on the other Rolleiflex I had. Wish I had done that in the first place but I was trying to save some money, and well... I didn't.

I think the camera is put together in the wrong way, after trying another Automat that was recently CLA'd. The selftimer doesn't work on mine and the aperture wheel needs to two fingers to move past 1/60 and faster. It seems like some gears are engaged somewhere in the works. Definitely doesn't feel right.
