Whenever I fly across the oceans, I like to take an assortment of cameras with me. My local photography dealer in Bucharest is selling Tamrac, Lowepro and Thinktank bags on wheels. Some of the models are certified cabin luggage OK. Any good and bad anyone would like to share with me regarding these three brands?

Many thanks for your feedback, Peter

Peter: I see your focus on the 3 soft brands, but for overseas travel you might consider this Pelican setup with the lid organizer and partition. It fits overhead and is a great stress reducer. Inexpensive, too.

I have the think tank airport security bag and like it. I like to carry a bunch of gear with me on jobs and it fit overhead on the last two flights. Well built and has great wheels. My last bag had hard, unchangeable wheels and they wore out unevenly and got very loud. I like that this uses rollerblade wheels and they can be changed.

Thanks for the advice. Today I bought the ThinkTank Airport International V2.0. Not cheap but it looks like a very roomy & sturdy bag.
