It's been a long time since I have had access to, or a darkroom, of my own.

Just came up with a solution..... Have a chance to buy an older, very redeemable, Teton 30 foot fifth wheel. I live in a 34 foot Prowler Park Trailer with two slides.

I can pick up this Teton 30 foot 5th Wheel for $1500 and it's travel worthy and liveable.

Here's the plan:

It has plumbing including toilet and tub/shower.
It has sleeping room over the hitch.
It has heat. Propane ducted furnace.
It has hot and cold running water.
It has 110 V/220V electric and Battery lighting.

I already have the truck.

Plan to "gut it" on the main level. Build in darkroom sink and counters.
Light proof the main level, including a two way light proof front door.
Ventilate with light proof roof baffles.

Travel with it, retain the sleeping accommodation over the hitch.
I can park it in the driveway at my home temporarily, or about three miles away in proper enclosed storage for $30 per month.

Never move and leave my darkroom behind again....

My wife, OK.. three times now. My dog, OK, and really missed one dog.

But never my dark room!!!!

With the unit at $1500 and another thousand for counters and cabinets from "habitat restore" another $1000 to $1500. Take my hobby on the road.

Did you know you can camp in a high number of BLM campgrounds as a Senior for next to nothing in most states. ???

Whoopee!!

Be careful, though. If people see you going in and out with chemicals, they may confuse you with Walter White.
