Rome with a Mamiya Universal

props for hauling that big beast on your trip 😉 I have one as well and it can be tiring hanging over the shoulder (rarely around the neck). Shooting Fuji instant film in the Polaroid backs is a very nice benefit as well.

Back in my 30's, when my back was stronger than my mind, I used to carry a Fujica with several lenses, and my Super Press 23 around Korea. Of course, the Mamiya was 100mm f/3.5 lens and only one 6x7 back. But I wouldn't want to even think about doing that these days. I carried it for those b/w images I wanted to greatly enlarge.

Great shots. If I see these then I'm sure there is something wrong with mine, I don't get anything near that image quality.
