Rome with a Mamiya Universal

I've done many like the last one (Mamiya Super 23), that big negative is great isn't it. You must be young and healthy to carry that around Rome. Great shoots.

props for hauling that big beast on your trip ;) I have one as well and it can be tiring hanging over the shoulder (rarely around the neck). Shooting Fuji instant film in the Polaroid backs is a very nice benefit as well.

Back in my 30's, when my back was stronger than my mind, I used to carry a Fujica with several lenses, and my Super Press 23 around Korea. Of course, the Mamiya was 100mm f/3.5 lens and only one 6x7 back. But I wouldn't want to even think about doing that these days. I carried it for those b/w images I wanted to greatly enlarge.

Nick De Marco - great photos.

Great shots. If I see these then I'm sure there is something wrong with mine, I don't get anything near that image quality.
