My boyfriend does that. In 25F weather. I think he's nuts for doing it, but eh. I told him we should move to Canada, but he refuses. Says Canada is too cold. 😛

I love Canada, in the summer!

I've motorcycled up through Alberta and BC a couple times. I really love it , camped in the Kananasksis region SE of Banff for a few days, it was glorious, except it rained 7 out of 10 days. Went in to Calgary to see a friend, his family had a nice barbeque for my son and I, but he has parked his bike and doesn't ride anymore. I hope to get back up there, in the Summer!

I guess you see I like Summer!

This year has been too strange for me. I grew up with January being when the 2 thermometers agreed (-40F = -40C) so I end up dressing with that experiance in mind.

This is _not_ fun at +50F...

Calgary's pretty miserable in the winter. I wonder if I've taken any outdoor pictures lately. Then, it hasn't been so bad this year, just a little chilly.

We'll probably pay for it with six feet of snow in June.

As noted in another thread post - it was 50F here in upstate NY (near Albany) today. Really odd weather - at this rate, soon we might all become Californians!

Oh my God -- I thought those idiots were unique to our area! We saw one just yesterday, they're everywhere around here and it's 20 degrees (F). Maybe these will be my "street people" shots 😀.

Well, we had some -- in November and early December. But it's a distant memory as we've been basking in Malibu-type weather... No offence to Californians (and I'm a native Californian) but I much prefer our traditional Canadian winter to this mild stuff we've been having. This stuff will make wimps of us. Soon we'll be using hinged-back cameras 😀

I remember going camping in 1976 in Qubec and Ontario. Beautiful lakes for canoeing. Lake St Jean area was nice too.

I remember another lake we saw while driving, I think in Ontario. Beautiful white birches reflecting in the water with a picnic table by the shore. We stopped to have lunch, and as we began to eat, the Blackflies came for lunch. We made a mad dash for the car, and as we were driving away, I saw a sign with the name of the lake: Blackfly lake!!!!!

More bad Malibu weather!
