I thought I'd open this thread for anyone wishing to discuss the upcoming 2007 World Series, or to post pics, if you're going (lucky SOB!).
I think Canon wins the DSLR of choice for baseball photographers. I'm pretty sure I saw more than a few 5Ds on the working end of some gigantic white lenses.
The series opens Wednesday, 10/24, in Boston.

I was cheering on the red sox last night only because I hate everything that is Ohio.

Last night seemed like a given. Anytime a guy who's 1 for 20 (or whatever) can whack a grand salami in the first inning the night before, you gotta start believing in the D word. Sox had a very formidable Japanese one-two punch last night, and toss in that dingbat closer and it was very entertaining (for Sox fans).

Papi to 1st base in Denver? Youkilis sitting? Could be a different game at Coors, bigger outfield, no DH. Papi at 1st base? I thought he was hurt.
