Hi, All,
Just an FYI kinda post...
After some trial and error, I'm finding that these two Nikon eyepiece items will work on the Bessa R3A (and therefore probably the other recent Bessas):
PART A. Screw-On Eyepiece - "Nikon 2925 Nikon Finder Eyepiece Replacement - 2925NID" - screws onto the R3A as a replacement/ spare for existing Bessa eyepiece.
PART B. Rubber Eyecup - "Nikon DK-3 Rubber Eyecup for FM/FM-2, FM-3, FA, FE/FE-2" - Fits BENEATH the 2925 Eyepiece as a rubber eyecup, as follows:
1. First, unscrew the existing eyepiece from the Bessa R3A,
2. Place the round rubber DK-3 eyeCUP around the female threaded part on the Bessa (the DK-3 does not screw on, just rests there),
3. Screw the round Nikon 2925 eyepiece back in place,
4. The 2925 eyepiece will hold the DK-3 eyecup securely on the camera.
Note: The DK-3 rubber eyecup will also probably work with the "stock" Bessa eyepice, but I did not try it..so give that a try.
Robt.

Yes, fits perfectly. I use those on all my Bessas (R3a, R4m, R2m). Actually I never use a camera without an eyecup.

I just got an assorted bag of 6 Nikon eyepieces from ebay for $10 to replace the one on my R-D1. I am on my third one for the Epson. They either fall off or the rubber shreds from rubbing in my bag. Some of the Nikon ones don't have rubber, which I find preferable. The Nikon ones do protrude a bit farther, the Epson/Voigtlander ones have a lower profile.
