Hi all,
i read that there is a possibility to put a Nikon Viewfinderglas for the Nikon FE / FM F3 etc on the Epson, too ?
I saw something by ebay germany ( ebay.de ) Look at artikel 110310500681. Could anyone tell me, if thats the right for my r-d1 ?
I need it, because i have no rubberring on it, isent it normal to have once like this on the R-d1 ?
thanks a lot
Michael

I have the Nikon diopter on my R-D1s and it fits. It is the diopter meant for the FE / FM series. I bought this diopter from the same seller you are referring to. The rubber ring should fit.

Hello forum - my first post!
Ron, I got an Nikon eyepiece rubber for my RD-1 from Avides media in Germany [via Amazon]. The cost was €12.50 .
The eyepiece is meant for Nikon FA/FE2/FM2/FE/FM - it fits fine.

Micheal,
If you put on a diopter in stead of the rubber eye piece, you don't need to wear glasses and you can see much better the different frames.

The rubber eye ring from the CV R3a/m fits the R-D1. Available from Photovillage (one of the RFF sponsors) in New York. I had to replace the one on my R-D1 that came off and was lost.
