Russian half-frame XA copy

One of the weirdest and most shameless of rip-offs. Funny hot shoe. Could it be fit on an XA? A bit expensive for just the shoe, though.

This would also be the half-frame camera with a rangefinder that we couldn't think of a few days ago.

Paul,
apparently not - according to the latest news from the BestStuff forum, it is not a half-frame, but a full frame camera...

Hmmmm. Think I'll stick with my LOMO LC-A and Kiev35A at US$55 less for the pair than they want for that thing, and the LOMO is way more cool.

What I find really cool is the Lomo 135 BC:

- not a rangefinder, though...
BTW, just saw one of those in a German movie, 'Im Herz, im Bauch, im Juli', starring Moritz Bleibtreu (one of the most popular contemporary German actors), directed by Fatih Akin (who one all kinds of film prices this year) - the couple who are in the center of the story find one of those in a car they steal, and take pictures of their trip (the pictures were quite visibly taken with another camera than the Lomo, mostly with flash, though...)

Yes, for that money you'll get a very very nice XA, in it's box, with a flash, (actually, you could probably get two) and that gorgeous zuiko lens. I doubt that the copy can boast such a good piece of glass.

Cheers,
Steve

I've got the XA. Bought it from its original owner about two months ago. Took a couple of rolls to figure it out. The third roll, using Fuji Superia IS0 400, made me think I was using a Nikon. That Zuiko lens.
Yes, yes, Oh, yes.

Also, talk about a stealth camera. It's better than my Yashica T4 Super because it is actually slightly smaller and only I can hear the shutter release (and sometimes not).
